Details:
When I was photographing the Tarantula Nebula, next to the Large Magellanic Cloud, an airplane suddenly crossed the field of view, almost "hitting" the nebula. I liked the effect it produced on the final image. The photo was taken about 48 km (30 miles) west of Curitiba city, in southern Brazil. According to Flight Radar 24 the airplane departed from Porto Alegre, the southermost state capital of Brazil, and was heading for Sao Paulo. Its altitude was 33,000 feet (10,058 meters) while crossing the Tarantula. The photo was taken with a 80mm f/6 apochromatic telescope and a T3i modifyed camera. This frame was 2-minute long at ISO 1600.
