Details:
We had very bad weather last weekend. So no chance for visual observations of the lyrids… but… with radio signals with the Graves Radar in Dijon, France, received in Radebeul in Saxony (713 km) on 143.050 MHz. I – Heiko – am licensed radioamateur and we used my 9-element-long-yagi by Tonna with 13.4 dBi gain. On the screenshot are to see two strong echoes of lyrids, or maybe space debris? At any rate a nice demonstration for visitors of the observatory. Especially when you see the meteors live… Details: SDR, FunCube Dongle Pro+, 9-ele-long-yagi by Tonna, 13.4 dBi
