Details:
I have seen many satellites moving across the sky together whilst working at the observatory, I've never seen two flare together. After some research I have found out they are NOSS (Navel Ocean Surveillance System) Satellites, which orbit in pairs. There's isn't a tracking system for them so it's good fortune that allows you see them flare whilst imaging.
