The ion tail of Comet C/2017 E4 Lovejoy was extended more than 2d in pa 275d this morning 2017/04/03 UT1126. Negative image is a stack of 7X30s, iso 6400, Canon T6s dslr, 300mm fl f/2.8 Tamron lens. Had to wait until after Ast. Twilight for the comet to clear the tree top; but, the ion tail detail was worth the wait. Also single 30s full field color jpg image. Click on images for more detail.
