This morning while I was getting ready to leave for work I left the camera taking time-lapse photos of Comet Lovejoy in the eastern sky. One frame caught a bright meteor burning up in our atmosphere, almost in front of the comet, at 5am, in the brightening dawn sky. Canon EOS 650D, 200mm f/4 ISO6400, 10sec

It seems better a satellite than a meteor, due to the evident symmetry of flare. Check heavens-above to find out.
