This evening (31 March) the Sun and waxing crescent Moon were simultaneously visible in clear blue sky while the Sun set behind Murahwa Mountain at 17.34 LT (first photograph). About half an hour later at 18.10 the Moon was surrounded by magenta sky above a beautiful sunset twilight arch (second photograph). The third and fourth images are close-up views of the Moon taken at about the same times. The camera used was a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in sunset scenery mode ranging from wide angle to x60 zoom magnification.
