Venus at 1% Phase one day before conjunction - test run for tomorrow
I set up the 10 inch when seeing would have been at its best of the day at 9am this morning to get my technique down for possibly shooting tomorrows conjunction event. Seeing was attrocious from that rain storm that moved in and out yesterday and Venus was a dancing woman on the CCD screen. Here is the shot with the 5x powermate and I was able to get something out of the mess by stacking 25 out of 2000 frames. Hopefully will be better seeing tomorrow!
