Me and my trusty 6D decided to hunt for auroras tonight. I'm pleased to tell our mission was somewhat successful! The display was never particularly bright but it did pick up some steam for some 10 minutes or so... :)
Ok so my gear and settings were:
Canon EOS 6D /
Sigma 20mm f1.4 at f1.4 /
ISO 1600 /
2.5 to 3.5 second exposures
