Details:
Lovely view at 200x today, thorough the 14 inch scope. Despite the mostly poor seeing, the superb thin crescent of Venus was a truly fantastic sight. 500 frames out of 5000. 14 inch Newtonian. ASI 1600MM with red filter. Seeing 3-5/10.

Thank you Sylvain! And here is another version, a bit more carefully processed, from another sequence under better seeing conditions: https://maximusphotography.files.wordpress.com/2017/03/venusmarch22crescent.jpg

Never saw anything as clean !
You really master your 355 !
I hope you can go on in the next days and even catch a full circle at opposition !

Thank you Sylvain for looking and for the good hope! I dont think that the full circle is visible during this conjunction due to the angle that we view Venus...its way too far. I know that it is possible to image it when it is only 3-4 degrees from the Sun, maybe a little farther away. But during this conjunction we have Venus at around 8 degrees. It is just too far. I will try it perhaps tomorrow, since the day of the maximum it will rain at my location...

Fantastic shot Maximillian, as expected from you. I still remember your photo from few years back taken on the day of the conjunction, must have been the Jan 2014 conjunction. That was a historic shot. You are setting some high standards here. Great work.

Miki B: Thank you for the kind words! I do remember that image and the dificulty of finding Venus close to a rather low Sun. This year however the conditions are much better...
