I never get tired of seeing the full moon rise. It's so beautiful to see how the moon slowly moves up in the sky. As a photographer I also like to plan my shots and working with the moon is one of my favorite type of shots. The planning part is as fun as taking the photos. Finding an exciting foreground and then figure out where to stand to get the exactly moon where you want it. Then when the moon rise is just minutes away, the excitement begins. Will the weather hold up? Am I standing in the right place for my planned shot? Here's my planned shot from yesterday. The full moon needed a little help by a big crane to get over the horizon.
