Details:
Last night we got clear skies in between the heavy snow falls that have blanketed N-Norway for the past week. And as expected, we got treated with a pretty nice Aurora-show! I took off from Tromsø to visit this curious shipwreck just outside the city, on the shore of Kvaløya-island. Just as I got to the location the Lights appeared (around 21:00 local time(UTC+1)), and I finally got the photo that I had dreamed of - the shipwreck with Auroras with Tromsø on the background. Then I headed to the beaches of Sommarøy-island, on the outskirts of the N-Norwegian coast. After the first burst around 21:30 local time(UTC+1), the lights were more subtle, and came and went until well after local midnight. Beautiful night once again under the Northern Lights!
