Details:
After dinner I noticed there were quite a lot of ice crystals floating around in the air, and the lamps from the buildings were kind of reflecting light vertically. I thought I might be in for a chance of seeing light pillars, something I'd only seen online. So, I went to the lake and looked back towards the main buildings and was completely blown away. It looked like an over the top Hollywood effect or Ufo landing! I ran back and borrowed the camera from work to get some photos. Artificial light pollution ain't so bad after all.
