Details:
This is first time I have imaged venus. I am pleased with the result, however I can do better next time! This is without a barlow. I am fairly certain I can capture some atmosphere with this telescope. meade LX70 R5 120mm x 1000mm - Objective mounted 5.65" x 5.65" Tiffen hot mirror, + CCD mounted IR cut, & a CCD mounted yellow short pass filter.
