I noticed it when I was driving, and had to pull over because it was the most strangest thing I had ever seen. I thought UFOs were coming! What could possibly have caused this?

Theser are so-called punch hole clouds or fallstreak clouds, and they are probably formed by aircraft. Interesting 90degs tilted view.
