Details:
Images of Venus over the last few weeks. By mid march the apparent size of Venus will grow to almost 60 arc-seconds, much larger than the apparent diameter of Jupiter, and it will be less than 5% illuminated by March 14th. Beyond mid-March Venus will appear as a very small crescent in the evening sky as it slowly fades from view. The images were taken with an Explore Scientific ED127 with a 2.5X Barlow and an ASI120MC video camera.
