Details:
Other images concerning last night Moon Penumbral Eclipse from Scotland's North.
In this mosaic, we can appreciate the difference between a pre-eclipse Moon, on the far left compared to the maximum darkening at 00:45 UT in the center.
On the right, instead, we have a little technical elaboration, subtracting the tones between the first two images. What we obtain is an explicit demonstration of the gradient of Earth's Penumbra, going darker from the outside towards the inside.
