Details:
Being such a dominant light source high in our Western sky at twilight during February evenings, its crescent phase is visible through the most humble of telescopes. Seeing detail in its cloudy atmosphere presents a greater challenge. Using a Baader UV filter, I may have just teased out some faint detail along with a ZWO120MM camera and a Meade 10-inch LX50 SCT.
