Details:
Auroras split the uprights over Denali, North America’s highest mountain at 20,310 feet, in Southcentral Alaska on February 7, 2017 at 2 am. It was only about Kp-1 but the Bz dipped south for a bit thankfully. I liked the silvery look of black & white better than in color.

You and me both! I have always loved B&W photography and this is a wonderful example of it.
