Details:
The start of this aurora evening was not very promising: many thick c louds layers. A stormy wind however gave a clear sky around midnight. And the auroras appeared fast (pulsating ones) and faint. Enough to say 'nice displays'. When we returned to our base suddenly the sky opened and beautiful figures and shapes appeared: a wonderful aurora observation followed! So, February started in style!
