Details:
Venus was about 45% illuminated this evening with an apparent size of 28 arc-seconds. Mars, in comparison, was only 5.2 arc-seconds. Venus will had an apparent diameter larger than Jupiter by Mid-February. Venus and Mars are to scale in the image. Taken with an Explore Scientific ED127 & 2.5X Barlow and ASI 120MC camera using a #80A (medium blue) filter.
