Details:
Beautiful moon halo as we approach the Wolf Moon. Wet weather finally broke earlier in the evening leaving traces of moon halos for some time.

This is not a halo (which is defined as optical effect by refraction and reflection by ice crystals) but a corona, caused by diffraction and light wave interference by small water droplets. However, a very fine developed corona it is!
