Details:
The "analemmometer", built around an old DSRL camera Canon 350d mounted in a plastic box isolated with a small window with a glass over the lens (18/55 mm. + Astrosolar sun filter). Above the box, another of the marine painted wooden box with a special enamel reflecting part of the infrared radiation to prevent overheating particularly in the summer. The camera is controlled automatically with a sequence of 5 shots each day at 12:00, 12:10, 12:20, 12:30 and 12:40 a.m. local time with an electronic module "Arduino" programmed by Luca Carlana. The electric part is formed by a 6.5 Ah battery charged by a small solar panel. A USB cable used to interact PC with the camera without ever touching it directly. In this way I maked 3 analemma from 2014...
