Details:
Me and my fiance spent the past week in Tromso hunting Auroras and were defeated by clouds until our last night on Tuesday when we finally got a clear night. Spectacular display with continued activity from about 6:30PM on. There was a lot of pink. As often happens, a green "river" across the sky formed and went into superdrive. In fact there was so much activity that the afterglow/haze of the Aurora kept the entire sky green even during brief lulls between substorms. Truly a great endcap to our trip and hoping that others will get clear nights as the winds coming off the sun look to provide great opportunity for Aurora chasers the next few nights.
