Details:
Clouds were moving into the sky in Southeastern Pennsylvania on the first evening of the New Year. I was away from home with family for New Years Day. Luckily, there just happened to be my favorite poratable scope inside my car...Orion's ShortTube 80. I managed to capture 4 short exposures using a Canon XS DSLR ISO800. The coolest contrast between these worlds billions of miles apart are the color differences from the blue tint of methane on Neptune to the rusty oxide red distinguishing Mars.
