Details:
After many days of completely cloudy horizon, yesterday I had a chance to capture Mercury. Still there was a small thin cloud patch but after it left this the planet was visible for the naked eye until it set. It was visibly scintillating because the air was really disturbed... Later Venus did the same when setting. Images were taken with 3 sec. intervals, 300mm telephoto lens, images stacked in Startrails software. Note how it changed not only its shape but its colour too!

Nagyon jó kép, gratula! :) Naplemente után mennyi idővel válik láthatóvá a bolygó?

Very nice result - do you have a similar set of Venus?

Doug, thanks a lot! When Venus set some thin clouds interferred and made it impossible to get the same result with the series of pics because of the aureole of Venus. Still it would need another try when sky would be clear :-)

Beáta, most még pár napig emelkedik, de amikor fotóztam szombaton, kb. 5 fokos magasságnál lehetett kivenni először - akkor mászott ki a felhősávból, ez olyan 45 perccel volt napnyugta után.
