Details:
The level of an active lava lake in Halema'uma'u Crater at the Big Island of Hawaii has recently risen and now you could see the lake surface and the spatters of the lava from the areas open to the public. The lake is absolutely beautiful, but the smoke coming out of it (vog) definitely impact the air quality and the space weather. It was great to observe a rainbow over Halem'auma'u crater, but I had to make a panoramic image to show its proximity to the lake. It is amazing to watch this lake. The second image shows the lava lake at night. Here's a video I have filmed there https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gV7VsYB3LCY
