Details:
I walked up the top of the Jura mountain to get above the clouds and see the "supermoon" rising over the Alps. I was granted a colorful sunset display, followed shortly later by the rise of an odd-looking moon, almost rectangular. That was quite a surprise! Of course, it progressively recovered its usual round shape while rising. I regularly see some deformations of the moon and sun at this site when there are strong temperature inversion layers like today, but this one was really impressive! Definitely worth walking 2 hours in the snow :)
