Details:
My wife kept asking me if I knew about tonight's "SuperMoon" she said I should go out and look so I did! The idea struck me to try and take a photo but all I had was my phone. So I got out my Celestron binoculars and tried holding the phone to the eye piece. It was far too bright. I searched around and found some cardboard and poked several sized holes in it to create a makeshift iris. After some experimentation I was able to get a few good photos! They're not great but considering the makeshift nature of the rig... they're pretty good!
