Details:
Last night the air was icy cold and the sky perfectly clear with billions of stars above us. Yet still I was not that hopeful of seeing aurora, since the aurora forecast showed less activity then in along time. Outside it was getting colder and colder finally reaching -17°. After spending most of the evening out on the aurora hunt, we were finally about to give up when we saw a faint glow on the horizon. The glow got stronger and started to form an arc, stretching across the sky. It wasn't a strong aurora but at least got to see something.
