Details:
Nicola Mackin's AstroDMx Capture for Linux was used with a DMK 21AU04 camera and an 80mm, f/5.5 ED refractor, mounted on an iOptron Cube Pro, AZ, GOTO mount. 10 x 10s exposures of M17 and 10 x 10s dark frames were captured (also 15s exposures) as TIFF files. The images were dark corrected and stacked in Registax 5.1 running under Wine, and post processed in the Gimp 2.9. Here is a screenshot and the resulting image. Not long until the software is released and the Imaging Source cameras can be used under Linux
