Sorry, but it is a waning moon. A waning moon is any time after the full moon (Oct. 16) and before the new moon (Oct. 30). Waxing moon is after the new moon. The camera is Nikon P530, at approximately 1000mm, F5.9, 1/500 and ISO 280. Thanks
