Always enjoy watching occultations, whether it be a bright star or a planet. Canon 5D MK4 w/ 400mm f/5.6L Lens with 2x for an equivalent 800mm f/11.0. Shot at 800 mm f/18.0 - 1/250 sec @ 4,000 iso. In the first image, taken at 10:14 PST, Aldebaran can be seen at about the 9:30 position on the Moon's bright limb. On the second image, taken at 10:36 PST, Aldebaran can be seen emerging from the Moon's dark limb near the top. Aldebaran is in the constellation Taurus the Bull.
