Details:
Seeing the northern lights is rather easy, it turns out, so I like to look at them with another eye - and ear - than only to look.
I grab my violin. And play in tune with Lady Aurora. Let her dance away.
This was oct. 4 , 2016 north of Blönduós, Iceland at 10:13 PM, on my last night of my most recent aurora chase . Saw the lights every night during my 11-night icelandic adventure except on one occasion when I decided to visit Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon during the day instead of hunting for clear skies further northeast ( but the clouds were backlit green nonetheless ;-) .
Oh well !!! I wish I could invite Hilary Hahn, Sarah Chang, Lindsey Stirling, Vanessa Mae and Soyoung Yoon to come play with me under the northern lights...
