Details:
I was planning this shot at Godafoss for 3 days, due to bad weather in the north of Iceland i nearly gave up. This time the weather looked good, but just for a very short time. I was about to pack my bags already when the activity was low. Too early, on my way back i recognized another gap - more important i also recognized more aurora. Before the clouds arrived, i got blessed with one of the most beautiful shows i’ve seen: at a certain point, the sky lifted up and started to glitter. I saw very fast moving greens and also rare pink colors. It has been so bright that i even saw sheep on the fields. What a great holiday in Iceland. Nikon D800 14-24 2.8
