Details:
Dreadful viewing conditions tonight with the comet about 10 degrees above the northern horizon below the bowl of the Big Dipper. But the comet is showing some activity now with a thin, faint but definite tail to the NW and possibly a 2nd much shorter tail to the WNW. Need darker skies than I had to confirm. Estimated at 12-13 mag now. Stack of 20 frames taken 20:49-21:01 local time, Oct 02, 2016; 03:49-04:01 UTC Oct 03, 2016.

Nice catch :) Be sure to catch V2 Johnson in the same eyepiece field of view as Messier 106 during October 29 - November 1 ;)
