Details:
Auroras lasted for 3-4 hours to varying degrees, on a very clear night, and 26 F temp. The brighter photo was during the most vivid display, taken around 2:30-3:00 AM PDT. Nikon D810 ISO 1000 at 10 seconds, and F5, and ISO 1250 at 5 seconds, and F5. with 20mm f1.8 Nikkor G ED lens. There was a lot of shimmering for over an hour as the intensity varied.
