What a night in Ilulissat, Greenland! These were some of the best Auroras that I have ever seen! The show started just when the sky was dark enough around 9PM local time, and is still going on now that I am writing these words just before 3AM! I flew back today from further north, and with the clear weather in Ilulissat, I knew that we could be on for an amazing show. Well, Ilulissat delivered again! All these photos were taken in or around the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Icefjord. On some photos you can see the mass of icebergs stuck in the fjord while waiting to be pushed into the sea and start their journey to the Atlantic Ocean. With 3 days left for me in Greenland of this 3 weeks trip, I don't see how tonight's show could be outperformed. Well, let's wait and find out!
