Details:
Exactly five years ago I took a photo of the huge AR1302 sunspot group on September 26th. In 2016 I took another photo of the sun free of major sunspots, at the same time of the day and from the same window. What I found interesting was the difference in the sun's position relative to the buildings due to the slightly different position of the Earth in its orbit around the sun from year to year. For instance, in 2011 the September equinox fell on September 23rd at 09:04 (GMT) and in 2016 it fell on September 22nd at 14:21 (GMT). At first, when I took 2016's photo, I was not seeking this comparison, so the exposure is totally different in the two photos.
