Tonight about 9 p.m. saw that we had a strong KP-5 and a friend called saying he was seeing a green band on the horizon.
I headed out with Canon 5D Mark III and 14 MM Canon F2,8 lens for 4.6 sec and F2.8 for 5.9 seconds. ISO was 2500. We had a lot of moon light, but could see the auroras on the horizon North of Ida Grove, Iowa
