Details:
clicked the whole sequence of the penumbral lunar eclipse from middle of New Delhi from ancient observatory called Jantar mantar. I clicked the whole sequence which lasted for more than 4 hours from inside the instrument called "Ram Yantra" which is meant to get local coordinated (Alt-Az) readings of bright astronomical objects. The observatory was made by King Jai singh during early 18th Century and was finished in around 1724. Canon 600D was used with 8mm Fisheye lens to have the whole monument in the foreground while moon took its course in the skies. The HIgh res image will show you the various stages of the penumbral eclipse where during max phase the Moon was just close to the umbra. the image was planned as to have the max eclipse over the top of the central Gnomon of the instrument
