Encouraged by the southward magnetic field I grabbed my gear for a night of observations. And what do you know the auroras did show up although they almost were drowned out by the clouds and the almost full moon! Anyway here is the necessary info for those who might be curious: Canon EOS 6D Samyang 35mm f1.4 at f1.4 to f2.8 ISO 800 exposure times: 2.5-4 seconds
