Writing on behalf of my stepson, (Noah). The strange jellyfish like light, (right of the house), wasn't noticed until we were going through his photos. It was a surprise that has left our minds completely boggled. Noah used his Canon T6i 30" exposure; f3.5; ISO 3200

nice lens flare from the light, notice how it is in the exact opposite side of image.

indeed, lens flare. Take several photos just a tiny bit different framing from this one - but keep the porch light in each photo- and compare how the jellyfish moves exactly in relation to the porch light!!!
