Details:
The photos show the Venus-Jupiter conjunction around 21:30 UT, some 50 minutes after sunset as seen from Saquarema, a small costal city located 100km East of Rio de Janeiro. Venus, Jupiter and its 4 galilean satellites (Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto in increasing order of distance from the planet), Beta Virginis and Mercury are seen in the first photo. A close-up of the pair is shown in the second photo, while the two last ones show the planetary gathery at lower zooms.
