Details:
Here is a set of images taken only a few hours ago with our Questar and DBK41 color CCD camera. The pair was closest at around 3-4pm in a brilliant blue sky with the Sun blazing down the telescope tube. I had to extend the dew cap to keep the sun out. Two are prime focus at 1300mm f/13 and one close up with the 2x barlow. I could still fit it in such a narrow field! Venus is brilliant and overexposed. Jupiter is a ghost with some banding visible. What a scene visually against a blue sky in broad daylight!
