Details:
I was driving westward in Anderson Indiana and I observed in the afternoon sky an object, at first I thought it was a plane because of a wide white contrail-like tail. After a minute of watching it I realized it was moving way to fast for a plane or jet and the front of it was unusually wide and circular. It and all the "smoke" around it and the tail was pure white with no other color. No little pieces appeared to come from the main object. The smoke surrounding it trailed off to a point behind it. The smoke behind it, disappeared very quickely and I noticed it appeared to be picking up speed. As it trailed off northwestward, for lack of a better description it appeared to be traveling along the outside of a globe like along our atmosphere. I was driving and was unable to stop to take pics or video. I was able to only get a few poorly shot ones. The total time of it in view was maybe 5 minutes or less. As it headed northwest it appeared to have no tail anymore. I was able to take a few picture of it after I got to a stop light got a couple shots but the grandest part of the display had past.

Looks like a plane.

if you watched it for more than 1 minute there is no reasonable doubt, it was NOT a meteor. All evidence, including the photos, overwhelmingly point to an aircraft.
