Details:
On the Night 11/12 the astronomers calculated That the earth would pass old dust trails ore filaments from the Comet That Causes the perseids. That very old dust indeed gave us some great bright meteors and fireballs! The Night after That (12/13) we observed a nice traditional display. I was observing for three nights with other members of the Dutch Meteor Sociaty at the D.O.T. located at the Roque de los Muchachos observatory on the Island La Palma. This picture is a composite of 16 perseids. The starfield is a wide angel with the radiant in the middle and the constalations Cassiopeia and persieus. The camera is a canon 500D Modified. Lens 17mm f3/5. You see also several deepsky objects like for example the california nebula.
