First image:
This image, shows a widefield perspective of the Perseid Meteor Shower on the morning of the 13th. Very few meteors were captured but the very last one (closest to the radiant point) was at least -4 magnitude and left a smoke train that lasted 6 minutes until twilight overwhelmed it.
Obvious jet and some satellites in this composite.
Used Tokina 11-16mm @ 16mm and @ f/2.8. ISO: 2200, and Exp: 11x30s.
Second Image:
The Perseid Meteor shower on the morning of the 13th disappoints. This composite shows the total meteors captured from 2AM to 5AM. One can trace back to see 2 possible radfiant points near the double star cluster in Perseus.
exposure: 15x30s @ f/2.0
Some clouds show up as red nebula-looking. A satellite here and there are included (unavoidably).
Third image; Brightest Perseid near radiant.
