Details:
The Perseid Meteors put on the best show in years. A smoky trail lasted about 2.5 minutes after this blazing meteor sliced the Milky Way in half. The North America Nebula is visible near the center of the image, with Vega in the tree below. I used an H-alpha modified Canon 6D, 24mm lens, f/2.8, ISO-3200, 20 second exposure.
