Details:
Using my Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens @ 16mm and f/2.8, I took 20 sec exposures, with an iso 2200. Using a Nikon d7000 DX dSLR, this gave the effective focal length of that of a 24mm lens on FX (full frame dSLR). I believe that's about a 84 degree diagonal FOV. These Perseids occurred in the north nesr the Big Dipper. Moonlight is quite obvious in the first image. Despite using a larger FOV, lesser Perseids were captured than with my 35mm Nikkor lens and lower iso. The last image shows M31 overhead with a nearby Perseid using my 35mm lens.
