Details:
Perseids were in great form last night (early morning of August 12). I had two cameras shooting in opposite directions and as I was facing east, the sky lit up with a couple bright flashes behind me to the west. As I turned around, the ion trail from this one was still glowing and slowly dissipated over the course of about 30 seconds. The twisting smoke trail was detected for several minutes by the camera as it drifted southward. Canon 600D, Rokinon 16 mm f/2, ISO 3200, 10 seconds, f/2.
